A Single Path of Two
"Why? Why?" the many generations all cry,
While the saints try to guide the passerby.
Despair is now a constant companion;
People hunger as if in a famine.
Has His righteous love left for good this time
In light of the known inhumane crimes
Committed by humans devoid of light?
On the scene, steps one, whose spirit is bright;
Love never traveled beyond our presence,
Despite the held human race's hesitance.
Truth has come to break yet remake our hearts;
One must choose the message he will impart.
A single path of two to pick will goad;
Justice lies at the end of either road.
While the saints try to guide the passerby.
Despair is now a constant companion;
People hunger as if in a famine.
Has His righteous love left for good this time
In light of the known inhumane crimes
Committed by humans devoid of light?
On the scene, steps one, whose spirit is bright;
Love never traveled beyond our presence,
Despite the held human race's hesitance.
Truth has come to break yet remake our hearts;
One must choose the message he will impart.
A single path of two to pick will goad;
Justice lies at the end of either road.
