A Walk in the Woods: An Appeal to the Senses
A walk in the woods is a chance to hear robin's tweet
To listen to the crumbling of leaves under your feet
To smell the aroma of pine needles with a scent of hanging cones
To see a carnival of colors from rustic red to pea green to dijon yellow
To feel a hint of chilliness in the dappled shade
To taste harmless berries not quite ready to be marmalade
A walk in the woods is a chance to embolden the senses
To escape from an artificial society and take in what God dispenses
To listen to the crumbling of leaves under your feet
To smell the aroma of pine needles with a scent of hanging cones
To see a carnival of colors from rustic red to pea green to dijon yellow
To feel a hint of chilliness in the dappled shade
To taste harmless berries not quite ready to be marmalade
A walk in the woods is a chance to embolden the senses
To escape from an artificial society and take in what God dispenses
