Love is a Tragic Ally

My endearment of her withered in a casket with little hope
The light had dimmed but a tiny crevice withstood

Amuse me LOVE with all your might
Stand up and recite to her
Cry out and do not collapse on deaf ears

Like a cardinal in search of a life long mate
Be brave and compelling
Let her know lust does not venture in disguise

Hearing my tender voice, her bosom carried little impulse
Her river only flowed with sinful desire
For another romantic fool had purchased her devotion

Dead and buried was my passion for she
Singing hymns of a crumbled heart
May my lost LOVE avenge and rise again
