A Wintery Gaze

Ambient icicles suspend from a timeworn roof
A grey molasses envelopes an eerie landscape
Dumps of snow intrude upon my clandestine destination

A sheepish sun pierces through bullish clouds
Sparking a pinch of hope while a stark winter glares signs of fatigue

An icicle begins to trickle
Spring looms
