A Wizard Of Oz Villanelle

Follow the yellow brick road Dorothy
I'm a good witch; Welcome to Munchkin Land
Just click your heels in a pattern of three

And keep on walking past the apple trees
Enjoy the view, this place is really grand
Follow the yellow brick road Dorothy

Scarecrow and Tin Man are good company
Dear old Lion will obey your commands
Just click your heels in a pattern of three

The green witch might make you want to flee
Go meet the wizard to go home as planned
Follow the yellow brick road Dorothy

Witch has locked you up and you start to plea
The hour glass is flipped and dropping sand
Just click your heels in a pattern of three

Freed by friends, now melting the witch is key
Hot air balloon left; Could no longer stand
Followed the yellow brick road Dorothy,
Now click your heels in a pattern of three
