Aaron
Aaron, why did you leave so soon
You left all of us to grieve
Everything now echoes your name
A cold reminder of how you left so early
You had so much more to learn and see
You didn't have to leave
You brought light into my soul that I didn't realize was dark
You brought peace in a world of war
You brought happiness even in the worst days
The pain you held was too much
So you let it all out in the worst way
You were only sixteen
Maybe you would have had kids
Perhaps you would have a job and a wife
But we'll never know
To my best friend
Aaron
Who left because the pain he held was too heavy to hold alone
You left all of us to grieve
Everything now echoes your name
A cold reminder of how you left so early
You had so much more to learn and see
You didn't have to leave
You brought light into my soul that I didn't realize was dark
You brought peace in a world of war
You brought happiness even in the worst days
The pain you held was too much
So you let it all out in the worst way
You were only sixteen
Maybe you would have had kids
Perhaps you would have a job and a wife
But we'll never know
To my best friend
Aaron
Who left because the pain he held was too heavy to hold alone

A few months ago, my best friend Aaron killed himself. I was so devastated that I tried to forget him. Then I later on realized that he would want me to remember all the good times we had. Aaron, I love you.
This was so touching I could feel your words painting a vivid picture. Great writing
amazing personal and deep!!!!!!!!!
