Moon child
Wild and free
Watch the stars spin
I hope you remember me

Let the dawn's darkness reflect off your skin
Illuminating the night
Your poetic words running through my blood
Like the venom of a snake bite

You'll never feel trapped in that skin of yours
As the sun, moons, and planets all align
People still try to convince you to count your curses
But you tell them to never mind

I watch your figure slide over to me
You look at me dead in the eye, smooth as seduction.
"Remember there's only one thing to avoid in life," you say
"Never fall into a restless mind's dungeon."
