All The Years
of lonliness and pain.
I finally let my heart
open up to love again.
I met a man so special.
I thought he was made for me.
Before I knew what happened,
his love set my heart free.
For so many years
I felt empty inside.
But my love for him
made that feeling subside.
I thought it would be
forever and beyond.
Now he's telling me
his feelings are gone.
Now the emptiness
I feel inside
is so much deeper,
I don't think I'll survive.
