Bred in these hallowed mountains,
These Appalachian warriors' bravery and determination are unmatched.
This family's roots run deep, forging unbreakable bonds with their descendants.
Teaching their daughters and granddaughters that there are no limits, determination and hard work are our mantras; half-assed has no voice.
Be gracious, compassionate, and respectful,
But stay strong and take no shit; disrespect has no place here.
Your word and character are everything;
Say as you do, and do as you say.
Look into their eyes; the wisdom of man lies there.
Their hands, delicate and strong, hold in them the strength of a thousand soldiers.
Each wrinkle and line that etches their face is a chord of their life, played by the most beautiful banjo.
