Crumbling Wall

Passing by this rock wall, inquisitive of the veins that drape like veins of a body.
Rock, stone hard, cold icy heart, black like night.

Slivers of light break through, feeding the flowers that bloom beneath , deliver beauty in its underbelly.

Strangers pass not even taking a glance at the strangling vines.
, suffocating all in their reach.

Copper colors shining through the rock, Spackle urning into mold.
Towers standing unwavering behind, watching over the crumbling remains.

The jagged edges pierce the sky,
Beauty is all one would think, of the crumbling wall just trying to breathe.
