Atheist vs Religion

The Atheist
Who is God?
Many a time you call on him,
But are you sure he even is there?
You say he is atop,
That when you call he listens.
Please give me proof if you have it here.
The fact that we believe this nonsense is a tragedy.
Believe, do we, that there is someone watching due to our humanity,
And if anyone does not share this view it is heresy.
This isn't religion, it’s insanity.
All your sayings are just formalities.
Listen, for I will grant you utter clarity

How does someone who loves you let you live in this world?
A world of anguish, sorrow and death.
They need to accept there is a god to explain this life of storms.
Storms caused from our own actions and breadths.
Surely, he would have saved you from this world as a show of his love.
But he hasn't, and you still believe in someone you haven't even met.
It's ludicrous to think your father wants you to suffer.
He enjoys up there, you labour down here.
You keep saying he will help you make it over,
But still, you are left bare.
I'm sure he doesn't even bother.
He will never answer, he will never appear.

Eventually, they all turn to a book.
The Bible, they call it.
Probably by good men, written, in an attempt to make people good,
And succeeded did they in this.
They say it was composed by men inspired by God.
Lots of books today are written by men claiming to be inspired too,
But do we do everything in those books? Huh?
Then why have we to do all that the Bible tells us to?
When a coincidence takes place,
They say it's by his grace.
You haven't even seen his face!
And with this, the Atheist rests his case.
The Religious Man
You say there is no God.
How do you know? Do you know all?
You ask me for proof God exists,
I ask you for proof He doesn't exist.
Many people have testimonies true of the Lord in their lives.
He saves me again and again through time.
A man of proof you are, I concur.
So please lay me proof the Big Bang did occur.
All your beliefs are hypothetical,
The fact that you accuse my faith is comical.
You believe also in science and your eyes because of your humanity,
Meaning your accusation against me more or less is blasphemy.

You ask me why my Lord would allow strife in a person.
Ever have you seen a father who gives his child only enjoyment?
If any parent does that, the child will be remiss on the life lesson,
And end up like a worthless pest.
Miracles happen, my friend.
If you don't believe at least that, you have a lot to learn.
When stuff beyond you happen, you blame coincidence,
Instead of giving praise where it is due, His Holiness.
The end is always more decisive than the beginning.
Might I be losing some point at, but end up winning.
I know could it be hard now,
But in the end, God always is around.

The Bible is the source.
All other books today are inspired from her words.
And says who we don't try to do everything in books nowadays?
As long as they are in unison with The Bible, we will follow them every day.
Every book inspired by God is a Bible of its own.
We could learn from different Bibles as we grow.
You're stuck in your world of black and white,
That you can't see the shades of grey in God's design.
You only speak like this because He has given you much grace,
And with this, rest I, my case.
I know I will win the argument in this court,
For God is the one and only judge.
