What is the bond
So strong, we are bound,
Though you are at one end,
I'm at the other end
Of the world?
No oceans or continents
Can separate us
No days or decades
Can change us.
Why do I feel so troubled
When you are unhappy?
Why do I feel contented
When you are happy?
I wonder how strong
The bonding of blood
Unbreakable by a hurricane
Or a sweeping flood.
