Breaking Heart
Laying pictures of a memory I don't remember I had
Mistaking my emotions for happy, not sad
Breaking inside, just don't know how to show
Heart is scattered in places no one goes
Falling too deep, the place is now home
I'm buried underneath; all you see is snow
I will walk through anything to see you glad
While I'm sitting here, mistaking your every glance
You gave me a reason to live
Though you've never cared for it
I'm grateful for the gifts
I never thought you'd give
But I can't stay anymore
The door is open now; I should go
You don't need me, not anymore
I'll stand in the dark 'till you call
But for now, I'll find my way back home
Mistaking my emotions for happy, not sad
Breaking inside, just don't know how to show
Heart is scattered in places no one goes
Falling too deep, the place is now home
I'm buried underneath; all you see is snow
I will walk through anything to see you glad
While I'm sitting here, mistaking your every glance
You gave me a reason to live
Though you've never cared for it
I'm grateful for the gifts
I never thought you'd give
But I can't stay anymore
The door is open now; I should go
You don't need me, not anymore
I'll stand in the dark 'till you call
But for now, I'll find my way back home
