Broken

In the depths of despair, a worn-out heart cries,
Tired of being a stepping stone, where hope slowly dies.
No more strength to give, feeling empty and numb,
Lost in a world where sadness has become the anthem.

Aching and weary, with each passing day,
Longing for a glimmer of light to guide the way.
But darkness prevails, consuming every part,
Leaving behind a shattered soul, a broken heart.

No more tears to shed, no more fight to ignite,
Just a worn-out heart, ready to surrender the fight.
In the depths of despair, it silently screams,
Yearning for solace, lost in shattered dreams.
