But You Weren't There

By Amu

I woke up,
And you weren't there.
On the other side of my bed
you weren't there.
The nightmare come real.
I slept intrepid,
but when I woke
you weren't there.
You're my breath,
where you are, come back.
You're my heartbeat,
I peeped into my heart,
but you weren't there.
My wet eyes look for you.
Sentiments getting ambivalence-
Wanna live in you or let you go?
I'm losing beliefs and perceptions,
Come back.
The sun didn't rise,
'cause you weren't there.
Be the rudder to my craft,
Take me ashore.
But I swam Alone, through the storms.
Wanting you, with me
in blossoms, in heaven
But you weren't there...........
