Calvary

When things go wrong,
And the road your traveling becomes too long.
When life gets to hard,
And your future you face with no regard.
When your days turn gray,
And your path appears to be a one way.
When your nights become to scary,
And your load to much to carry.
When you decide to end the bender,
And ready to surrender
When you feel the tugging at your heart,
And ready for a brand new start.
There's a place I know,
For all the lost to go.
A place to lay it all down,
There you will find the Victor's crown.
For it is here you will be set free,
At the foot of the cross it shall be.
Your redeemer awaits for you there,
To save you from that which is to much to bare.
Creator, Lord, Savior, Only Begotten Son,
Our Everlasting Father, Faithful one.
Good Shepard, Wonderful Counselor, King of King's,
Teacher, Almighty, Immanuel, my heart sings.
Lamb of God, Advocate, and The Word,
All given at Calvary there where it occured.
Your Bread of Life and Prince of Peace,
Through all of these He promises a release.
Joy, Peace, Faith and so much more,
A love like nothing ever before.
God's promise is everlasting and true,
His only requirement is to have all of you.
This man I speak of,
Is from heaven above.
He for all of us,
He is Christ Jesus!
