Country Boy Proud

By J. Wood

I smoke, I drink, I cuss, I fight,
I like to get tattoos an stay up all night.
I must be a sinner because I sure ain't no saint,
But this country boy's putting money in the bank.
I'm proud of who I am an what I've done,
Just remember life's to short not to have any fun.
I take my big tire's down them ol dirt roads,
Kickin up mud an hitting them holes.
I do what I do an I'm country boy proud,
Turn my music all the way up to loud.
Takin River Road to the fishing hole,
Put a hook in the water an reel it slow.
Cooler full of beer an the night is young,
Campfire blazing while we shoot our gun's.
Later in the dark is where the fun begins,
Bed of my truck, moonlight an my girlfriend.
From here you know how the story goes,
If you wanna get your country out just let it show.
