What funny creatures are we
Always trying to be set free
But we continue to run from reality
Chasing the fruit of the poisonous tree
Everyone is hoping for a miracle
But we think magic is ridicule
Refusing to accept failure and death
Hoping for the best till last breath
We are trying to find the love of our life
Without knowing love inside
Dragged by our own chains
Our souls are so plain
Never knowing when is the end
But everything is fine, we pretend
