Dad RIP It would be your 61st Birthday

Dad if only you were still alive, too bad I can’t go back in time.
I’d like to spend more of my time with you.
I was ignorant in my youth, now as an adult I appreciate everything you did for us.
Even though you didn’t have a lot. You made sure we had fun. With our bike rides downtown to the ice cream shop. Or playing in the park where you were the villain we would run away from.
Taking us to the beach with no plan, we had a blast! This was a lesson I learned from you, you always knew that even without a plan just do it! These are the best, most cherished memories. Although never perfect trips sometimes that's what helps them stick. You were always there to give me much needed advice, even if I was ungrateful at the time.
You were there for me in every way I needed you to be sorry I wasn’t there for you… That was so uncool of me.
Dad, I know you would be so proud of the person I’ve become. I wish I could tell you all these things to your face. I regret alot when i think of you.
I hope somehow you know, I alway will love you dad.
Today you would be 61.
To ensure your memory lives on. I’m taking the time to say happy birthday...
