Defibrillator

Dousing myself with regret, trying to forget, undesired results, for my time was not well spent. Decisions that have been made, wishing I would have walked the other way. Does not matter anymore.

Counting in reverse, for time will soon stand still. Earth, that once wobbles, will spiral no more. Internal thoughts, that music will stop. Only I will here the silence, my thoughts will become clear. A moment in time. Mindfulness is near. Peaceful like the warmth of the sun, shining in the deep blue sky. Cardinal birds singing, as they sit in a tree nearby.

Wait, please let me stay. It is so peaceful, don’t take this moment away. The world spins, my mind begins once again. Wondering what if. I wonder if I would have been missed, wondering if I really exist. Wanting to try this life again and truly live. There my mind goes, spinning like the earth. There goes the disturbing thoughts and questions that wont stop.

Wishing for that moment, when the sun shines bright, birds singing in the tree nearby. Taken away when this heart palpitates.
