Do You Hear the Cracks?

She is an eagle,
he is a rat.
She soars and wonders
until she’s trapped.
Up in arms, ready to fight;
Simply for pleasure,
Always for spite.

Wistful inside, broken it's true;
She’d break a rat’s toe if she really had to.
Almighty God save her, for she has no clue.
“Please Josh calm down, don't hit me please!
For i was just cleaning the tub and the sink!”
Impudence i see, deceits i sense!
Could be an mouse, but clearly a pest.

Rats so horrid, sleazy it's true.
“Janet you bitch! Shut your lips!
Keep cleaning your mess,
Before i come in!

Toes being broken, do you hear the cracks?
It's the sound of her face repeatedly getting slapped.
Sad I know, but necessarily true;
a man once gracious now always in rue.
