En Route

Start the engine and prepare for the road
Take a deep breath as a new journey unfold
Along the way there will be some stops
A few bumps that will make your heart drop
Don’t be discouraged for its God who feeds us
Each stop along the way is placement where he needs us
Landmarks arise that you may think is destiny
Only to find out that isn’t what’s best for thee
A few traffic jams that blows your mind
It’s the moment you get through and see the sign
Time become slippery like the wet conditions
But keep your focus and eye on the mission
A couple turns made here and there
Altered plans happen but don’t be scared
All worn out needing some rest
Refill the tank and prepare to press
The journey is long so you have to explore
For en route you are to God’s major tour

Life is a journey just like a road trip. You are going to have times you drive down roads where you have no idea where you think you are heading one place and end up else where. This a result of detours, change in plans, etc. Or you may just go on a spontaneous adventure and discover things you never discover. Have a safe and enjoyable trip!
