Get to Work

You've been assigned
It's time to work
No matter how clean you claim
We all must encounter some dirt
Success won't come easy
At least what's worth holding
You can't give a bronze effort
But want what's considered golden
Come on get to work
The job won't do itself
Some have failed to prosper
When they relied on someone else
God gave you a gift to use
In making the world better
Get off your tail and stop waiting
For someone who has it all together
You can impart wisdom
Knowledge and truth
Why sit around waiting
For a place where it has no use
Face it you are needed
But you only recognize reward
But it must be earned
In reward there's war
Take away war
All you have is red
By time that shows up
The circumstance has become dead
