Eternal Love

the only thing guaranteed in life is that it ends
when a soul passes on our hearts need time to mend
hold our heads high
we know their spirit lives on sprinkled throughout the sky
in the air that guides us as we breathe
the rippling waves of the water that bring us clarity
the soil that contributes to our growth and keeps us grounded as a family
the fire in our hearts that ignites us to be all we strive to be
they are not lost
they are not gone
in our memories they live on
