Fall

I find myself able,
willing and stable
until I am plucked
away from my limb
my ending looks grim.
Oh, the wind starts her shrieking
I hear her, shes speaking
I am cascading down,
I am closer to ground
I am lost in the sound
As my color is fading
the time that its taking
In the air, I am waiting
to land in the dirt
to acknowledge my hurt.
As my skin changes color
I am unlike the other.
Though they are like me,
so unable to be
anything more than
a leaf from a tree.
