Fathers are forgetful and clumsy
Yet we love them so
There always overbearing
Wouldn’t ya know

But the best part about them
Is they’ll never let you go
Through all our weaknesses and flaws
They always love us so

There the best part about us
But you’d never know
Cause they give us the spotlight
And follow in tow

And when we're at our worst
And the memories start to flow
They’ll sit down beside us
And help us grow

They’ll help us grow to our potential
Help us soar to our dreams
But they’ll never let us forget the difficulties
And they’ll always help us pursue our dreams

So this day we praise the fathers
For all their hard work
And how much they have succeeded
In making us the best we can be
