Fences

Dividing multiple fixes that bares significant ground
Staked and heavily planted in soil’s bound
Jesus be a fence for what you deem
As worthy and holy, I know no seam
The climb was steep and my nerves were shook
Had me by the ropes feeling placed on a hook
Stuck on this fence refusing to choose a side
You demanded I pick but your voice I denied
The only way down is to call on your name
How can I be on the fence when it is you I proclaim
You saw me off directed my release
For the words you uttered has set me free
I find it’s too late neither side in sight
I took too long and both set flight
Stuck on the fence when it should have been Jesus
At the end of the day he places us where he needs us

Indecision is always something we face. However do we include the Lord in our choices? Do we pray and give the dilemmas to him? Do we ask what he wants us to do? He always has the final say. Where will he place you and will you be content?
