Follow Me

Sorry I lied to you
Don’t follow me
It was a fantasy
We’ve tried to changed the world together
In this systemic stormy weather
Trying to keep peace together
But the pain was heavy as lead, and light like a bird feather
The mind of the poet dwells in the dark
Where sad stories leaves their mark
Like secret mysteries
Slowly we embark on this poetic journey
Come and follow me
Poetry is the only tool to set us free
Yet, as my anxiety increase
The puzzle of life provides the missing piece
Of objective evidence - for my reverence
Follow me - let us be kind - let us be free
Under the sun - in a world so dangerous- where the talk is cheap
And the only speaker is the gun
No wonder why war is a game of fun
For those who think our soul is for sale
In the grand theater of a fairy tale
Follow me - for they will remember this poem very well
