As the bees buzz they frequently dazzle while the butterflies fly.
Spring drifts away, as her sister arrives.

Summer is bitter, yet sometimes sweet.
She feasts on our emotions as we burn from our feet.
She rests in the evening and awakens at dawn,
But in the flash of a second, those four months are gone.

For then she has a delicate, more delightful daughter named Fall.
A cool breeze all night and with frightening treats for all.
Her trees began to rattle as colored leaves descend upon the ground,
For the sight is most extraordinary than one might have found.

For last but not least is a Winter told tale raging so cold,
The force within her power is a shivering tale unbearable to be told.
Although her nights are freezing, and the days seem to drag on,
There's a method to her madness as children assemble into her snow!

A mother is a mother whether she is young or old,
Who gets the pleasure of watching her babies grow.
As time moves on, and the years are to have and to hold,
Protecting through the warmth, the heat, the coolest, and the cold.
