Four White Crosses

There's four white crosses standing all alone
Overlooking the valley, where they now call home.
They vowed to protect and serve, with their lives and their souls.
There's four white crosses standing in a row.
They were asked to do a job that most wouldn't do.
To protect people like me and you.
They come in all sizes, colors, and creed.
They put their lives on the line
So others could live free.
They go to foreign soil, sometimes they stay at home.
Sometimes they come back as heroes,
Sometimes they stand alone.
There's four white crosses, standing all alone.
Overlooking the valley, where they now call home.
