Grandchildren
The greatest things,
Both girls and boys.
I have nine that I'm talking about.
My Grandbabies, they will
make you want to stand up and shout.
I'll tell anybody, with honor and pride,
that I'm a grandmother.
That's nothing to hide.
Some people I know, I feel sympothy for.
They aren't proud to be grandparents.
They say it makes them old, but that's
a story better left untold.
I'll support mine in whatever they do.
I'll always be there to love them
and help them work things through.
