From your first entrance you were a blessing
From your bright light to soft touch
You're the perfect key to ease my stressing
And your smile is so luminescent

This year I've been pushed,
Pulled, and crossed up
You should know I never lost touch
I just had to rebuild and reaffirm,
Stop control, and let nature take its turn

And through the valleys and peaks
I have learned,
Certain bridges I thought
Wouldn't get burned
Weird surprises emerged
With every turn
