Had I Not Met You
They said I would never be okay again
It was my job to prove them all wrong
They said my happiness was just pretend
Did they never know me after all?
Had I not met you
Had I not fallen into the depths of your smile
Would I have ever found happiness again
But now as I get to smile once again,
Knowing you are mine,
I realize.
Life isn't all that bad,
And all the people;
They were wrong.
And so I go on.

This Poems Story
Last month I discovered that after 2 or 3 months of desperately trying to gather up the bits of my shattered heart, somebody was standing 5 feet ahead, waiting for me to reach them. And then my new journey began. I found love once again. Have you?
