Happiness
I began to imagine the other day
About my life, enough, to smile and say
I am a great soul in this life
Showing scars with beauty from strife
And in that moment I realize
I have a story of great from my eyes
If I ever doubted my strength before
I truly will not do that anymore
I see the things others never will
And everyday I conquer more still
I cannot depend on happiness to fall in my lap
As if irony or some kind of mishap
I pushed forward that same day
And found my potential in every way
And now I sit here for all to see
