The Dark Poem
Vainly done these foul deeds are met with cold disdainMan is petty wandering far from comforts quiet reign
Now that restless spirits haunt with loathsome taunt
Weary eyes shall find no peace
consumed by bitter want
Foulest hearts who seek to join
will find an open gate
Undying sadness waits within to seal a final fate
No light remains to guide the way
Casted out to be alone at end of day
for those who walk in sin
The darkness takes its heavy toll
where sorrow must begin
