She can see the beauty in him
Uncertainty keeps the walls up
She longs to feel the warmth
That comes from his light
She feels him holding back
What is he so afraid of
If he were to fully let go
His light would bring down the wall
She waits for her savior
Both beaten down by the past
How would it ever be possible
To save one another finally
His weakness is her strength
And that only reinforces the wall
The more he succumbs to weakness
The darker her world becomes
How does she help him overcome
Maybe it's not her that needs saving
Can she one day become his hero?
