The sense of liberties
Peals in my nostrils
The notes of coventry
Soak in their seals
The apprisal of apathies
Drawl in their pathos
As the recognition of similes
Congeal in their steel
The blood of the blazes of outrages gone by
Blisters the gazes
Of the patriots that cry
For the past that engages
The real world with a sigh
And flies blank on the pages
Of the drunk and the dry
