When the wind blew hard, and the thunder left you scared,

When there was darkness all around you, and you were left in fear,
im sorry that i wasnt there.
You probably cried when i left you there, standing on the stair.
I want you to know that i cared.
The passage of time, and the hand of God, have all my sins laid bare,
but youll remember i wasnt there.
You were often in my thoughts, and forever in my mind,
but you thought i never cared.
My agony, my symphony of life, i hear through the hole ill tear,
within my soul, because i wasnt there.
My final destination, is a place thats yet unknown, but i dont want you to be scared.
