I Weep No More

I weep today for the past I've lost
So much pain and such high cost

Yet I feel a weight being lifted from me
I was so blind then and now I see

True loss is within the one who really loves
Wasting away from within like tattered gloves

I fight to be everything to one who sees nothing
Then I realize they'd be worst even the ones crying

Once it's all over even said and done
I walk away free from the most hurtful one

There may have been a time when he once cared
I think back to great and sad memories shared

In an instant I'm brought back to reality
For this hurt I need to be set free

The saying is that when you love someone you let go
A true statement not something said but one you show

So now I leave with this hurt but it too shall pass
And hopefully find my peace at last
