I Wish
and loose my truest friend?
All for a few days of fun,
with heartache at the end.
I know that it was wrong of us.
These feelings I didn't plan.
It started out of lonliness,
and from there turned into sin.
He swore that they were finised,
His love for her was gone.
And like a fool I believed him,
and let him lead me on.
I needed someone to hold me,
and make me feel alive.
So when he said he wanted me,
I believed all his lies.
We had our time together.
We laughed, we loved, we talked.
He told me we'd stay together.
But when she came back he walked.
I know we had a good time.
He was happy and so was I.
But for this short time of happiness,
true friendships had to die.
Now they are back together,
and I'm here all alone.
But from this I've learned a lesson,
that you can use for your own...
Don't ever let a man
into your heart so fast.
Because when something seems so perfect,
it very seldom lasts.
And don't ever let a man
come between you and a friend.
Men you can replace,
But a true friend you never can.
