I Would Rather...
Wasting time With boring class speeches,
Dreaming of fishing
Off dozens of beaches.
With rod and reel,
Live bait and sharp hooks
It's an escape from society
And all its crooks.
To be out on the ocean,
No land in sight
Low rolling waves,
And the sun shining bright.
Land a catch
Or lose your bait,
Fishing is fun,
Relaxing, and great.
