If I Breathe...
How do I begin to breathe? This messy flow of life within me.
Humanity takes and remakes
the stale mannequins, sitting in silence
.and we watch
Why should I begin to breathe?
The air is congested and sick.
What is in a breath?
it is our poverty.
Our release into the wild
it is the consistency of our race
Where will I begin?
In the turning leaves
cascading down to the Earth.
meeting ends
When can breath begin again?
