In the dark , dreary night
I lay in my bed
Sleep eludes me, as I think of you
I can still feel it;
The touch of your soft lips against mine
The mingling of our breath , the kisses we shared
The warmth of your love, enveloping me as I lay in your arms
I long to hold you again
To tell you things that words cannot say
To show you, what you mean to me
If only we could , you and I
Brave the currents , that pull us apart
If only we could , you and I
Break the shackles , that bind us to the world
If only we could , you and I
Build our own little shelter
Against this terrible storm , that is raging around us
