If the World Was Blind

If the world was blind,
Who would you try to impress?
Would you try to dress all nice?
Would you try to be the best?
Would you feel bad for making mistakes?
Or get flustered when you fall?
Would you worry about your race?
Or being short, thick, or tall?
If the world was blind,
Would you worry about your look?
Would you try to be like the people
You read about in your books?
With eyesight comes judgment,
Pressuring you to be the best
But if everyone saw darkness, and the world was blind,
Who would you need to impress?
