Ignorant Misperfection

Who figures when you aren't confined anymore,
When your machine does not define your mind,
Why the strings are gone from the tags you wore,
And the truth discovered that all were blind.
Right now the struggle invades all my thoughts,
Ignorant disppointment leads my life.
And now that certain beauty can be bought,
Hateful and disappointing is my strife.
But they have more, I look and I see
Their mind-made perfection is but a mist.
I try but I don't have their quality,
Yet the words for myself just add to the list.
Nothing matters when I am His mirror,
Light in my eyes makes everything clearer.
