In the minds of a Youngster
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
Am I doing it just because I have to and not because I want to.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
Is it possible to rewrite the story of my life.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
Is it where I belong to.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
Is it really late to follow my passion.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
Do I love the way it is.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
How do I escape from all this.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Wondering if I can
just go back and start it all over again.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Wondering if I can
leave everything and listen to only myself.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Wondering if it was not so complicated.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Wondering what went right and what went wrong.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Looking for a ray of hope
That will change the way things are.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Looking for that silver lining in the dark cloud.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Looking for a word in the dancing letters.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Looking for the positive notes in the entire workbook.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Looking for gold in the coal mine.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Looking for a better tomorrow and
an improvement from the past.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Wondering if its life or a devil’s workshop.
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
Am I doing it just because I have to and not because I want to.
Every now and then,
I think about life,
Just one question in my mind,
Is it possible to rewrite the story of my life.
