In the Weary

In the Weary

In the weary afterglow of love, and pain that's hard to rise above --
Hold tight.
In the weary beat of time, when my life has lost the joy and rhyme --
Hold tight.
In the weary dark of night, when the loss of you doesn't seem right --
Hold tight.
In the weary, that's like a place, I argue love like it's a case --
Hold tight.
When you left you left me dear, in the weary, alone here --
Hold tight until I am strong, until I find the place that I belong.
Until I find my way free, of the weary of losing you and me.
