In Your Arms

My attempts to come to grips with myself
Just my skin and flowers
Do I look like a morning star?
So I look like a morning star?

See the dream rise
In the rear view
They mean it
You mean it
I don't mean it

A bottle of ink
Open up your heart and write on me
If I was a boy
I'd look good in a dress
I beg for you
You give me your address
If I was a girl
I'd look good in a suit
The kitchen's cold
Just have me like you do

I came to realization with my wrists
Truth hears
I'm dancing by your door
The words came true
I feel it burn
Do what you do

Do I look like a morning star?
My vulgar emotions
stay the same
The pair of fists
They always change
Do you love me?

I'd look good in a dress
See the next ones
Wait for me

I guess I really need the change
A dim morning star
I mean nothing
I can see it in my dreams
I can see the new me begging
I won't ever change

I won't ever change

I'm sorry to
Disappoint
I don't matter
I've missed the point

I'll feel like an animal in the day
With your lips moving so slowly
I am the ocean
Wishing for devotion
My head pressed against your mouth
I'm stuck in slow motion

Burn the moths of my stomach
Would I be a boy or girl?
Or nothing in between

I wish to speak to you
With warmth and emotion
My walls
Show what I wish to be

I can smell the soap on my hands
It never tears away that disgusting feeling
Of never belonging

I don't matter

Dragon claws
Tearing through my soul

Handwriting
Just another messy thing
About me

I'm cold
Do you love me?

I'm skin and flowers but
My petals are wilting
And my skin is rotting
I'm a dead morning star
I don't love me.
