Inside Out
of gold
Scraping the edges
trying to see what's
underneath
So anxious to see
if it's folded inside
out
Hoping both sides
are the same
Reaching at the
bottom just to
see your own
reflection
Looking at yourself
and just wondering,
Is this who I am?
