Judge

I judge everyone capable of forgiveness
I judge us all capable of dismissing shame
We can live on the right of trash and finger pointing
All of us can avoid vengeful hate
The bar is high but we can strive for excellence
Our brains can catch our tongues,
And our tongues can be the glory of our brains
We can choose righteous in spite of pain
We can all be weary yet not faint
We can protect when others aren’t safe
I judge everyone to have the right to respect
I judge every human to have access to eternal life
We can all envision the light at the end of any tunnel
We have the will to be merciful if we will
I judge all to have rights to love, in endless supply
We all have the right to really live until we die
We all have a right to be angry without sin
Always, we can be a friend to a friend,
And be friendly to an enemy
I judge us all with right to grab hope and run
We all have a right not to judge
